The Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell of Nirmala College for Women organized an Exhibition on Science and Artistry Expo 2023 on 13.12.2023, with an endeavor to promote interest in science and technology, providing exploratory experiences, encouraging problem- solving approach, developing self-designed models through appropriate technologies. Dr. K. Panneer Selvam, Scientist, Forest Ecology and Climate Change Division (FECC), IFGTB, Forest Campus, Coimbatore was the Chief Guest. Dr. O. M. Saravana Kumar, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Electronics and Communication Systems, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, Dr. S. Sangeetha, Assistant Professor, Department of commerce, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore and Dr. K. V. Shalini, Assistant Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore acted as Judges of the Exhibition.The objective of the Exhibition is to encourage and inculcate temperament among students from both science and arts stream. A total number of 161 models were exhibited basedon the themes – Agriculture and Organic Farming, Pollution Control, Artificial Intelligence,Smart sensor-based devises, Mathematical models etc., The students displayed different models and experiments with great enthusiasm and excitement. The event in itself ignited the scientificcuriosity in students and gave them a platform to give concrete dimensions to their ideas, from the zone of imagination to realism. The exhibition was a great learning experience and it was evident there are no dreams were too large, no innovation is unimaginable and no frontiers are beyond the reach of the students. The day ended on a note letting the organizers taste the sweet fruit that their hard work bore.
