  • What are the Courses Available?

    Please refer the Admission column in the home page.

  • When will I get the Application Form?

    The Application forms for admission to UG and PG courses can be obtained from the College Office in the month of April for UG and in the month of May for PG.

  • Where do I have to Submit the Completed Application Form?

    The Application Forms duly filled by the candidate may be submitted with all relevant enclosures to the college office either in person or sent by Registered Post to the college address.

  • How will I know If I am Selected?

    You will have to check the selection list in the college notice board.

  • What is the Admission Procedure?

    If you are selected, you should bring all the original certificates (X, XII, Transfer certificate, Community certificate, Aadhaar card and Baptism certificate for catholic students) with Five sets of photo copies of all the documents.

  • What is the College Timing?

    Our college timing is 9.00.a.m. to 4.00.p.m.

  • When do I have to Pay the Fees?

    You must pay the fees in the time of admission, when you are selected.

  • Is it mandatory to take a Language? If so What are the Languages Offered?

    Yes, it is mandatory to take a language. The languages offered are: French, Hindi and Tamil.

  • Can Students From Other Boards, Other than Tamil Nadu HSE, CBSE, ICSE Apply?

    All the students who have passed the plus two examinations or its equivalent are eligible to apply. If your board is other than that of the Tamil Nadu HSE, CBSE, ICSE, you should submit the Migration certificate.

  • When does the Application Period Close Each Year?

    Applications will be accepted until ten days after the publication of the examination results.

  • What are the Programmes Offered and What are the Eligibility Criteria for Each Programme?

  • What hostel facilities are available?

  • Does Admission into a Programme Guarantee Hostel Accommodation?

    Admission into a programme does not guarantee hostel accommodation.

  • Is Acceptance into Nirmala College based on Merit/ On an Entrance exam?

    Candidates are selected purely on merit and according to the government reservation policy. There is no entrance exam for any degree.

  • Are Scholarships Offered? How can I apply for One?

    Government, private and management scholarships are available. You will be directed to the right authority once you are enrolled.

  • Can I apply for more than One Programme?

    You may apply for more than one programme using the appropriate application form and paying the required application fee.

  • When do Classes Start?

    Classes usually start around the beginning of the third week of June for all the students.

  • Are there any Add-On Courses Available?

  • What are the Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular Activities Available?

    Yes, sports quota is available in our college as per Government norm.
