NIRMALA COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

Department of Commerce (Self-Financing) was introduced in the year 1995 with an objective of imparting in-depth commercial knowledge through quality education so that they are best suited for the requirements of industries. In 2003, the Department was elevated as Post-Graduate Department and in 2005 as Research Department. Having realized the need for computer knowledge, B. Com Course was converted into B.Com.(CA) in the year 2007, the year in which autonomy status was granted to the college.

“If you can dream it, you can do it” as per the saying, the Department was filled with new ideas, qualified and experienced faculty members who are engaged in advanced teaching and directing the students to hold the top position in their careers. The faculty members help to improve the quality of campus life of the students.

The value of college education is not in learning of many facts but the training of the mind to think. Change or challenges is a natural phenomenon. Since the emerging markets is undergoing substantial changes and great pressure of challenges, it is very essential to enhance the knowledge and update the young students with great ideas to flourish and prosper in business world. With this definiteness of purpose, the B.Com (Computer Application) course provides an excellent foundation for a range of accounting-based careers with computer application skills.
