The department of Computer Applications was established in the year 2000 and it has produced many graduates. The department has focused on producing the graduate with high soft skills and knowledge about the subject. The department also has started the additional section from the year 2005. The educational modules are made to the point that the course gives an upright hypothetical establishment through excellent instructing supplemented by broad consistent preparing.

The workshops, guest lectures and hands-on training are conducted to the students for developing their intellectual skills according to the needs of the industry. More number of students was placed in various industries through the campus recruitment.

The department has MOUs with technologically experts and leading software training & development Industries. To stay in contact with the consistently developing innovation, the faculty members take an interest normally in FDP and symposia directed by different colleges and research establishments.

The department has introduced diploma course in PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications) for the PG Inter disciplinary students and many students were benefitted out of it.
